    Birdland, Hay Festival Exhibition 2019.
    11 May - 22 Jun, 2019
    Brook Street Pottery
    Exhibition Invitation
An exhibition of original prints, ceramics and wood sculptures celebrating our rich, diverse and threatened avian wildlife.
We are delighted that Carry Akroyd will be exhibiting her latest bird-themed, colourful hand-cut screenprints, including a series of illustrations due to be published by Bloomsbury this August.
Jeremy James has made new larger scale pieces especially for the exhibition with multiple birds and animals. We are exhibiting thirty new ceramic works from Jeremy in this exhibition.
Paul Smith and Adrian Jervis are new exhibitors to the gallery and both work in mixed media, wood, ceramic and metal to create unique pieces. Gordon Monk will be showing three extraordinary carved black oak chairs.
During the exhibition we will be supporting the British Trust for Ornithology and in particular 'The Welsh Curlew Project’.
There will be an opportunity to donate during the exhibition and enter a raffle with a beautiful Curlew print as a prize .
Join us at Brook Street Pottery for the Private View on Saturday May 11, 2019, from 11am to 4pm. You'll have the chance to meet the artist Carry Akroyd. And we'll be serving fresh water and sunflower seeds!
The exhibition continues until Jun 22, 2019.
Brook Street Pottery is open from Wed to Sat 10.30am to 5pm and each day during the Hay Festival 2019.
