This handbuilt and highly decorated porcelain lidded caddy is a terrific example of Russels unique ceramic pieces. 

The rectangular box shaped jar is covered in intricate designs incorporating geometric multi coloured pattern looking like textiles design and then the main panels  have grazing deer and stags with bounding hares in a stylised pine forest.

Amazing work which takes many hours of planning, skilled application of under glaze and overglaze enamels and several firings.
