Huang Fei was invited to exhibit in Hay-on-Wye following Simon Hulbert’s recent residency in Jingdezhen. He will be exhibiting Blue and White Porcelain alongside Ink and Water Painting on Hand-Made Paper.

Huang Fei will be in the gallery during July demonstrating his painting and talking about the history of Blue and White Porcelain with examples from the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties.

Simon will be showing a few pieces of tableware made during his residency and will also exhibit shards and ancient saggers which are used to protect the work in the kiln.
